Facility Detail

ELEVEN PARTS OF
ONE FACILITY.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A 6 TPD Compressed Bio-Gas facility at Village Dhansri, Tehsil Jansath, District Muzaffarnagar, integrating feedstock handling, digestion, purification, compression and resource recovery on a single site.

FEEDSTOCK

Paddy straw, pressmud (mali) and cattle dung are received, assessed and stored ahead of processing.

PADDY STRAW

Paddy straw / prali forms part of the feedstock mix, giving crop residue a productive use as an energy resource.

FEEDSTOCK PREPARATION

Biomass is blended and conveyed into the digester structure at a controlled rate.

PLUG-FLOW DRY DIGESTION

Anaerobic digestion takes place in sealed concrete digesters, with insulated heating circuits holding working temperature through the season.

RAW BIOGAS STORAGE

Methane-rich raw biogas collects in a ground-mounted storage balloon that buffers flow between digestion and purification.

VPSA PURIFICATION

Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption removes carbon dioxide and trace components to reach biomethane quality.

CBG COMPRESSION

Upgraded biomethane is compressed and filled into cylinder cascades as Compressed Bio-Gas.

DISPATCH TO IGL

Cascades are dispatched by road to Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) off-take points, supported by TPA arrangements with GAIL and IGL. The facility is preparing for direct integration with IGL's steel pipeline network.

FOM / RESOURCE RECOVERY

Digestate from digestion provides the basis for Fermented Organic Manure made available for agricultural use.

FACILITY INFRASTRUCTURE

Process halls, feedstock yard, gas storage, internal roads, utilities and supporting structures are arranged around the process flow.
